http://www.semiconductorfilms.com is where its at. After leaving their coveted DVD in my player for more than a couple weeks, culture jamming with cats on it everday, I had the honor of showing work along-side one of their installations at the at the Amsterdam Film Experience in 2007. SEMICONDUCTOR is simply one of the most innovative groups of forward-thinking programmers/artists around; their work is like a bukake of cutting-edge minimalist CG with concepts that run deep, conscious video orga[ni]sms, pixels that burst out of the screen… The synaesthetic content is always flawless, with audio merging with visuals in (w)holy unexpected ways. They weave in the science, the philosophy, and take content to the next level. Vidi one of their projects below, then pleeeeeease, if you have any sense, buy their DVD!

http://www.pitaru.com/ check out this mad-man’s SONIC WIRE sculpture for hours of spontaneous mind-expanding audio/visual tweakage. the MandelBot salutes this site for its innovation and creativity … keep up the great work PITARU! We’ll flick this global mind on yet(!), with bursts of living synaesthetic data flooding the streets; even the squares will become waves in that psychedelic spectrographic frenzy of cross-sensorial hybridization. Any day now … ;) pitaru.jpg
